SUMMARY
Only the 5-HTP ingredient makes me hesitant. The typical 5-HTP dosage combined with the unknown amount in the Z-12 has inspired me to take only half the recommended Z-12 dosage. Otherwise, I’m encouraged by the potential of the ingredients to increase availability of GABA and melatonin. GABA typically has relaxing, anti-anxiety effects, and melatonin is used for treating circadian rhythm disorders. And if that weren’t enough, these chemicals have also been shown to regulate muscle tone, improve learning and memory, and treat depression. If Z-12 has half of its potential effects with no major side effects, I’ll be a happy camper.
