There is no bottom
We fool ourselves when we think there’s a bottom we’ll hit when life gets hard. We lull ourselves into a false comfort that there’s a limit to how far we can fall.
Left unchecked, carelessness becomes a slip, which soon becomes a freefall. Left unchecked, our need to create meaning and value in our lives becomes compromised. Left unchecked, what we want remains unfulfilled.
The difficult moments in life can be the gateway to positive personal discovery and possibility. They can also be the door to a freefall. It’s up to us to stay self-aware, and choose how we see and act upon circumstance.
