Every day, we tell ourselves amazing tales.  Every day, we fabricate the stories we want to hear, the stories we want to believe.  We fool ourselves with our own bullsh!t.

The naked truth is not so sexy.  We Photoshop it in our minds, smear on the virtual lipstick and try to turn the ugly truth into something more palatable to mentally and emotionally consume.  In doing so, we sugarcoat reality, we distract ourselves from the work we need to do, and fail to make the necessary changes in our lives.
