The need to be right is a disease
A sign of insecurity, and missing self-forgiveness. An addiction to avoiding mistakes; repeatedly focusing on being perfect and pleasing. Something is broken.
The demand to be right is a certifiable condition. One that keeps us small, severed from the world. One that highlights pettiness and narcissism, feeding a surge of self-justified cause and self-defined morality.
Let go of the need, the demand, to be right. Fix the brokenness. Learn to forgive. Learn to experience joy.
