Should Men Eat Soy?

Phytoestrogens found in all soy foods are pharmacologically active molecules that mimic normal estrogen. Studies have shown decreased mental ability in men who consume soy. Consuming soy also decreases testosterone, anabolic potential or your ability generate muscle, increases weight gain and decreases sex drive. On the plus side, you’d probably think it’s less entertaining to fart in front of your girlfriend and call her babe. Btw, she doesn’t think it’s cute or funny.

Soy phytoestrogens are found in all soy products like tofu, edamame, soy milk and soy sauce. Fermented soy products have lower phytoestrogen content. But with such a long list of undesirable effects, I recommend you avoid it entirely or keep it to a minimum. You should be in the clear if you keep your daily soy-protein consumption under 25g per day.
