“Why think out of the box?”
There is no box. There is only choice. It’s not enough to say you live outside the box. You must recognize and embrace the fact that there is no box.
At an early age we felt the pain of being shunned, ridiculed, and bullied – if not against ourselves, then against others we knew. We were taught to feel shame for who we are, for how we think, for what we choose – so we conformed and built walls around our lives. We avoided the possibility of pain. But we’re no longer children, and yet we continue to conform. Why?
Why not open our minds to unlimited possibilities? Why not pursue the opportunities we choose, and reject the common wisdom and suffocating pressure of the crowds? Why not recognize that there is no box?
