Easy Functional Legs Workout

I took my video camera out for a jog to the grocery store and thought I’d talk to you about my runs. I train for health and functionality so I try to keep a strong balance in my workouts. When I go for runs, I include lunges and keep it fun by jumping over whatever gets in my way. Afterwards, I show you what food I bought, what’s in my cabinet and and my spice rack.

Awesome-I love doing runs with walking lunges, calf raises, step-ups, etc. intermixed. Also useful for the competitor: take your run at the reservoir where the local school trains their track team.

Ah, brilliant. And for the creepy old guys: follow the pretty women who have every reason to outrun you. =)

I passed my Naval Academy Summer Seminar 2 mile assessment by following one of the beautiful female drill sergeants. Later, one of them totally push-up competed my face into the ground while wearing a fuzzy pink monkey backpack.
