Move out of your mind-set

“Keep an eye on yourself.”

Self-awareness also means self-monitoring.  Stepping back and looking at your life – your actions, your words, your relationships – as a third party might.

What sort of person do you see?  Are you attracted to the person you observe?   Is this person truly aligned with stated goals and dreams?  What’s going well?  What’s needs to be fixed or realigned?

You have to get out of your head to get into your life.  You have to look beyond your current mind-set and see where to focus your attention – what to ignore, and where to make changes.
