To let go and just breathe

Sometimes you need to sit in stillness.   Quiet and alone.  Nothing to pursue nor resolve.

To sit, to let the mind settle and empty.

It matters less whether it is three or thirty minutes.   It matters that you let go and just breathe.  Just breathe and let the body stay still.  A sudden thought may arrive, but you do not follow its story – you let go.

No rule on the time; no striving, no script, no scorekeeping.  Keeping it light and letting the world go for a few moments.

Many resist attempting to just let go because it is not so easy to loosen the grip of the chattering narrator inside. An attempt, however, asks for nothing more than willingness to try.
