We have the gift of cognitive power – to think and choose. Our future, our lives, become indelibly altered by those choices. Even the choice to not decide is in itself a decision. Whether we live aimlessly or deliberately – by purpose or by omission – we have first decided that course.
But the difficulty with choice is that it’s always accompanied by accountability. Decisions – even the choice to not decide – create outcomes, and we’re accountable for those outcomes. We are fully accountable for the results of our decisions.
You are accountable for what shows up in your life. You control what you become.
